Hi, we are off on an adventure to Port Stephens NSW (Shoal Bay side) from the Blue Mountains the weekend after next & would like some tips on good birding spots around the area & on the way. Also, if there are any particular species that we should keep an eye out for this time of year. We will be stopping at Newcastle ( Kooragang Island ?). Thanks Matt
