You asked:
Does Whistling Kite (H. sphenurus) occur in Solomon Is as stated by HANZAB, or is this an error? (My other sources show it occurs in New Caledonia but not the Solomons).    Ross Silcock

I can find no record of the Whistling kite in either Vanuatu or the Solomon Islands.
