Hi all, Pelsaert Island in the Abrolhos off Geraldton is one of the natural wonders of the birding world. In September thousands of seabirds of many kinds , including the LESSER NODDY, nest there. The Lesser Noddy has very occasionally been seen elsewhere in Western Australian waters, but the Abrolhos is the only guaranteed site. A boat is being organised from Geraldton on Friday September 28th to Pelsaert itself, cost $155 a head, returning in time for the late afternoon flight to Perth. If anyone is interested in joining us please contact me.
