Hi David and others involved in the survey On the weekend prior to the survey Euan Fothergill and I checked out Sedgewick State Forest [near Bendigo in Victoria] for swift parrots and saw one foraging in a yellow box. We also saw purple-crowned lorikeets, rose robin and painted button-quail. At the beginning of the month I saw approximately 30 swift parrots fly overhead while I was birding near Lake Eppalock [also near Bendigo in Victoria].
