A visit to the Blue Mountains today produced some nice birds. At Cahill
Lookout, Katoomba, NSW there was one Rock Warbler hopping along the track
and in the grassy picnic area there were 3 others. They hung around long
enough to get their photos taken.

At the Echo Point Lookout there were a few Crescent Honeyeaters feeding in
the Banksia blossom at the back of the Visitors Centre.

Several Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos were seen during the day including a
fly by which nearly came through the glass windows of the Hydro-Majestic
tea-room.

I know the Blue Mountain birders know all this but I have put it on
Birding-aus in case some overseas birders are lurking and need some easy
good birds.

Good birding everyone
