To any Sydney birdos interested in Banded Lapwings, I saw a pair of BLs this morning 5 May on the property of Billabong Turf, which is in Cornwell's Lane just east of the intersection with Benson's Lane at Richmond Lowlands. The birds were on an open turf field less than 200 m. south of Cornwell's Lane and about 350 m. east of Benson's Lane. There were also about 10 Plumed Whistling-ducks at Pugh's Lagoon, Richmond Regards Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
