This morning there was a male Red-capped Robin, fully coloured at Penrice Saltfields near Adelaide. It was perched on saltbush along the eastern track about 2 km from the St Kilda Road gate and later seen flying to the ground after insects in the vicinity of a small flock of White-fronted Chats. during the afternoon of the 2nd of April while I was ploughing a paddock at Penfield near Edinburgh Airbase there was a female Red-capped Robin flitting about but it soon disappeared move off to the east. Both of these sightings are about 25 km on the north side of Adelaide.
