Please allow me to provide some information on the Vicgroup camp to be held over
the Queen's Birthday weekend (June 8-11).
The camp is at Pritchard's Landing in Lower Glenelg National Park (far sw
Victoria). Information on the camp is available on the Vicgroup website
(http://www.websurf.net.au/~vicgroup/). Click on "Noticeboard". Alternatively,
I'm happy to provide the details directly.
Briefly...
The campsite is some 370km from Melbourne via Ballarat and Hamilton (shortest
route).
Lovely bush camp on the river bank, toilets and fireplaces but no showers, no
power, no pets.
Lots of birds and diverse birding habitats nearby.
Canoeing on the river!
I have booked a number of tent sites and can book campervan/caravan sites if
required but I need to know asap.
Anyone interested please get in touch for more information or to make a booking.
In case anyone is wondering - No this isn't a commercial venture for me.
