Hi Mike, first report this year from me of some FTSs from SA.
At Tolderol Game Reserve 07/04/01,( 35 22 26s, 139 08 19e), about 9.30 am,
some 100 -150 flew through, some high , some flying low and scooping water,
going east.
Weather was cool 15C, strong offshore (S) breeze, light overcast with change
( rain) forecast for late in the day. Weather warmed to 30C by lunchtime but
FTSs long gone by then.
Had some excellent close views of some of the low flying ones.
