Two unusual sightings for my area (northern beaches of Sydney)this week-end. The first was a group of three zebra finches on a pathway linking the car park to the North Narrabeen ocean rock pool.I expect they are escapees, however they have survived a week at the seaside as I saw them at the same place last weekend. The other unusual sighting was a single red-rumped parrot near the boat launching ramp at Bayview on Pittwater.
