Greetings all I am trying to get a handle on the distribution of Blue-winged Kookaburras in SE Q'ld, or south of Rockhampton even. All of the Field Guides show them down at least as far as the NSW border but I wonder about this. I have never seen any south of the Tropic despite many years 'in the bush' and birdwatching. I know that there were some in the Lockyer Valley at some stage. Has anyone seen these birds in SE Q'ld and when was the sighting?
