Lorikeets

I had the same experience very early this morning as I was walking my dog through a park in Reynella, dozens of Musk Lorikeets and a few Rainbows feeding on some cream Eucalypt blossom. I have also noticed a pair of Purple-Crowned Lorikeets, which regularly turn up in Spring, seem to be nesting in their usual spot - a hollow cross piece on top of the telegraph pole out the front of my place. It's the first time in the 4 years that I've been there, that I've seen them at this time of year.

Cheers
Chris
