This (Wednesday) morning there was a female musk duck feeding at the Elsternwick Park (south) lake. The lake was filled 2.5 years ago and this is the 6th native duck species to visit. Also the first reed warbler seen at the new lake, grey fantails (there has been quite a few moving through for the last week or so), coot and swans.
