Hi all,

Those interested in the recent thread on albatross ID, might
like to visit a revised article on the identification and relationships of
Wandering Albatrosses, and in particular the recently split Tristan
Albatross. This is a shorter version of the article that appeared in
"Africa: Birds & Birding", but there are more illustrations (15), so you can
decide for yourselves how variable these things are! See
CapeTownPelagics.com (www.capetownpelagics.com)

We still have much to learn about the identification of the recently split
albatrosses; constructive comments most welcome!

Best regards,

Callan Cohen
