Thanks for the information re birds getting in under the nets Keith. That grapegrower would not have lasted long, letting birds in under the nets renders the exercise useless, most grapeeaters will just go in and out underneath, and the nets are normally secured to prevent this. Do friarbirds forage on the ground? They would have to to find the opening.
