Lawrie I gather that you regard Phillip Veerman's suggestion ( that each of many Aborigines taking a few bustards a year each would contribute to a decline in their number in the Kimberly) as incorrect. Even if Philip's suggestion should be incorrect, why do you construe his very rational statement as casting aspersions on aboriginals? Any aspersions should be cast on the laws which do in fact allow the unlimited killing of some wildlife, including Bustards, in the guise of "traditional hunting". But I suspect that Philip was just thinking about the reasons for the decline of Bustards, and not about casting aspersions on anyone.
