Further to Richards note, the refuse dumps at Wingfield in Adelaide's NW suburbs is also a great scavenging spot for the same range of birds that Richard lists. Absolutely thousands of birds are there all the time, the place is white with them. Nobody tries to scare them away, they just forage as the compactors empty out.
