Reg-
I notice you didn't find it necessary to emphasize, or even mention their
ethnic backgrounds....

Hello All,

I recall reading an account of a survey party who were returning from a trip
in the north of Western Australia, riding through an area where many Yellow
Chats were nesting . they loaded up the horses with dozens of nests with
full clutches of eggs intending to make their fortunes by selling these to
eager collectors in Perth. It would appear that they were something of a
rarity even many years ago.The outcome of this entrepreneurial exercise was
not very encouraging however,as they lost the lot swimming the horses across
a flooded river
There must be a moral there, I'm sure.

Reg.
