I have three days off and was contemplating a Macquarie Marshes trip but have never been there. Does anybody know if the Pied Herons are viewable from a main road or inaccessible because of flood-private property. It is extraordinary that a small breeding colony has formed so far south and inland. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
