Grant Baverstock and I meandered our way along the western shoreline of Swan
Bay today, taking part in the wader count. Amazed at the amount of fishing
rubbish along the shoreline - bait bags, buckets, caps, thongs (couldn't
find a pair though :( ), floats, hook packets.
Interesting observations:
Low numbers of Silver Gull, no Straw-necked Ibis, only one species of
raptor. Usually see large numbers of Ibis and Gulls.
