The Landline programme at 12pm on Sunday (4/2) will be repeated the next day at 1pm. It will also include an item on the red-tailed black-cockatoos ("red tail black cockatoo") in western Victoria. The state government has banned removal of dead trees with hollows, but lots were felled when the possibility of a ban was being discussed. http://www.abc.net.au/landline/stories/s111077.htm Michael Norris Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
