Hi Alan. European Blackbirds were present at Hurstville in 1979 at my father's home, and at our Peakhurst home from 1979 on, Liverpool 1980, we don't consider these to be inner western Sydney suburbs. Most of my notebooks prior to 1979 have been lost, however it seems that Blackbirds were widely distributed from at least 1979.
