Mike, On Thursday, 11-January at 4.10PM, I managed to clearly identify one Forktailed Swift flying in a mixed flock of Tree Martins and Blackfaced Woodswallows at Mambray Creek, just south of Port Augusta, South Australia . The sky was clear and the temperature about 40C (in the shade).
