G,day birders,

On the afternoon of Thursday 25 January, whilst driving through
Strathfieldsaye (15 km south-east of Bendigo, Victoria) I stopped to
observe a flock of approx. 40 White-throated Needletails. The weather was
incredibly humid and just starting to rain very lightly. The birds were
feeding quite low to the ground, some flying only a few metres over-head,
but mostly about tree-height (i.e. 20-25 metres).
