Sunday 21st. Jan. There was a Curlew Sandpiper in full breeding plumage down on the Austin Rd., T section Lagoons. In the past week many more waders have arrived in the area. The elusive Lesser Yellowlegs has not been seen for a while but the Banded Lapwings, Banded Stilts, Avocet and thousands of Red Necked Stints, Sandpiper etc make any outing there most worthwhile.
