Hi Everyone,
Following on from the comment about Brolgas being seen near Sydney, at Mangrove Mountain on the Central Coast on 8 September 2000, two well known local birdwatchers, Kaye and her father Barry Pointer, saw a Brolga flying north! The location is about 60 km  due north of Sydney.
The last known recorded report of Brolgas on the Central Coast was in 1867 when the were reported to be "declining"!
