Neil Rankin passed away last Friday and the funeral service was held yesterday Wednesday 17 the Jan 2000. He had been ill for a long period. Neil will be known to Sydney birders and he did a lot of his bird work in the Wolli Creek, Arncliff areas. He wrote the publication 'The Birds of Wolli Creek". His collective knowledge on this area of Sydney will be sadly missed.
