Hello everyone, Yesterday's tern survey on the Caloundra sandbanks gave us a good haul. Common Tern 4047 2 with orange leg flags Little Tern 1409 one only noted in breeding plumage White-winged Tern 5 these must be stragglers, the rest have moved south Crested Tern 71 Plus heaps of waders, but I haven't yet combined the list from all the sites. -- Jill Dening Sunshine Coast, Qld 26º 51' 152º 56' Ph (07) 5494 0994 Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
