Hi, While on the subject of Emus, one recently turned up at a Ostrich farm (heaven forbid) in Ballan, near Ballarat, Vic. Appearently it has taken a liking to the bigger birds and has decided to hang about with the flock. Now all Victorians know that the Emu has basically been extinct in this region for over 50 years, the closest populations being the Grampians and around Tower Hill. (I can't think of any closer.) Any suggestions? An excapee?
