Sorry John, I did misread your first comment. I was responding to your last sentence in which you said : " However, regular occurrence outside an area, even if it involves only small numbers of birds, disqualifies a species from being an endemic." Do you have any examples of this? Again, I would like to know where I can get the definitive list of Oz-endemics just to clear up a few uncertain species as to whether they are endemics or not.
