Hello all, Thanks to all those who responded to my request for audio tapes for eastern aus birds. EDWIN the mauve flowers the scarlets are feeding on are Jacaranda I believe, Two male scarlets at my place have been feeding on this tree a couple of weeks now. They pierce the flower to get to whatever they are feeding on pollen/nectar ? keith brandwood Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
