Hi John, Just a P.S. to my response to your wonderful idea of a trophy. Please don't feel guilty, I won't allow my disbilty to become too much of a restaint on my life. One thing I have learnt through bitter experience is that no doctor, though as well meaning as they may be, should ever take away a persons hope! Twenty years ago I was told I would never walk again and only had limited movement in my arms. I can now walk on crutches for short periods and enjoy a fullness of life I thought would never be mine again. My bush walking and hiking days are long gone but there are always alternatives - for example my discovery of Birding-Aus has revived all the joys I had for I am living them again with every email I read. Sometimes I believe I can smell the salt air when reading of the sea birds . Again 'thank you' John and everyone else - you are all too numerous to mention but I read and enjoy everyone of your emails, Maralyn |
