Gooday all,
My introduction to birding came at the age of 11 when my Mother just returning from her outing at Little Para Creek, Salisbaury North. South Australia told me that she had seen a "Rainbow Bird" I thought whow that must be some nice bird for such a name. I didn't see the Rainbow Bird at that time but I have been an avid birder since.

I also remember birding at Belair NP SA recording in my notebook Alladin Flycatcher after Mum had called it out. On writing up my diary I went to the "Bible - Neville Cayleys What Bird is That" only to find the Leaden Flycatcher.
