Hi Birders,
Edwin Vella asked about the Varied Triller sightings on the Central Coast. There are still no Varied Triller records for the Sydney Region (County of Cumberland) and only two records for the Central Coast viz Umina garden August 1991 and the one at the Everglades Golf Course (Woy Woy) on 3 November 2000 and heard over several days.

Further north they are regular at Harrington and have been recorded at Wallis Lake. On 3 October 1996 two were recorded at Copeland Tops, and in 1998 one was at Copeland SF 25 January (Hunter Bird Reports). This may indicate a slight shift southwards, so Edwin should keep looking to be the first person to get one in Sydney.
