Hi everyone, my brother just got back from a few days at Tuross Head on the south coast of NSW and had a couple of interesting sightings. He saw a group of about 50 fork-tailed swifts near Pambula which I would have thought was quite an early record. Have others been seeing any swifts so far this year. Secondly he was at a place called the crevices (may be a local name) just north of Ulladulla and saw a number of very confiding rock Warblers. I would have thought this would be close to their Southern limit, are there records further south than this? best Wishes John Boyce Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
