I visited Lake Bindegolly in SW Queensland on 22 October 2000 with 26 others on an ASIT tour to SW Queensland. We spent approximately 6 hours there in almost constant rain and despite seeing around 50 species including many Black-winged Stilt we saw no Banded Stilt within scope range.
