I went for a stroll around the foreshore park this am
and whilst up around the trees and bushes at the parks
closest point to BHP Steel Works I saw 2 New Holland
Honeyeaters.

Further on around the walking track there were, what I
counted, 9 Weebill's, gee I really admire these beaut
littliest of little fellows. Life is tough for any
bird but for these they have my absolute admiration.

Kept on walking and just to the end of the dense bush
coverage 4 Eastern Rosella were seen, who gave these
beaut guys only one note to use eh :-]

Nearby a gathering of about 8 Rainbow Lorikeet.

Heading back to the Pier/Jetty and about 20 Pelican,
with 3 species of gull on the calm bay.

Maybe a special day after a bad night eh?

Of course it is, when turning the corner of my street
with shopping in my hands, in the bushes of the house
on the corner, 2 what I thought were striated
fieldwren? only one more needed for this beaut day?
some Rose Robin. Should see them this afternoon in
Somerville :-]

It's thee gleek fliday quiz, in the next email from
me, so pens and papers and ref books ready? I've made
it a real toughy because of the special prize
available.

If I seem down I'm sorry but I lost little wundollah
weebill last night, and I have no idea as to why.
