A week ago a quail walked beside our house at Old Northern Road, Dural - about 35 km north-west of Sydney CBD. The house block is heavily shrubbed and has a large section of natural bush - so the occurrence of the bird may not be quite as surprising as some sightings. This is the second sighting for us in just over 20 years. I would like to stay around for the next!
