Back in April I posted that I had possibly seen common mynas at Coolamon (40 km west of Wagga Wagga), but I was obviously mistaken. We have just spent 7 days there, and I looked particularly for them, but without result. It would appear that the habitat niche that common mynas occupy (in Sydney, say) is there occupied (to a large extent) by common starlings and also (to a lesser extent) by white-browed babblers. Apologies for any confusion I might have caused.
