On Monday afternoon, 25/9/00, I sighted a single Pied Currawong along the Cemetery Road at Karumba, on the Gulf of Carpentaria.  17º 27 S, 140º 50' E.  This is an out of range sighting of about 350km.  The bird was observed for several minutes, before it flew off into the bush.  Only the one bird was seen.
