Hello all, Surely , given the special interest in birding sites of this nature , it is possible for Crown Land affected to be subject to an appropriate reservation which would permit access to the the site for comparatively passive activity such as short term camping and Birdwatching ,and still be used for say - grazing . After all, in the case in point (and probably in other instances) the site concerned would only be a fleabite of the area of the total holding involved .These are remote pastoral properties and it is not as though it is in someone's backyard. I think that this might be a suitable matter to be raised with the appropriate State Governments by the body best suited to represent birder's interests--Birds Australia. Reg .
