Brush and Common Bronzewings

Hi Michael and others

Brush Bronzewings are more common than Common Bronzewings in the places
I regularly visit in Toolangi State Forest and other areas in the Vic
Central Highlands. I haven't noticed any difference between the species
in flushing distance, but there are individual differences among birds
within each species. This really depends on whether they are in areas
that are frequented by people, ie picnic grounds compared with more
remote locations.

Cheers,
Merrilyn.
