Hello all, On Thursday when we were doing our regular tern survey, Barb Dickson & I saw a Lesser Crested Tern ( a first for Barb) on Sandbank 2, then Sandbank 1, in the Pumicestone Passage at Caloundra. Whilst it means little, it adds a bit to the adrenalin levels to see an uncommon bird. My experience is that when you see one, they tend to pop up at the same time in other parts of the region. Others in SEQ might keep their eyes peeled.
