Hi all, the Jacana at Salisbury north of Adelaide is still there. Six of us had excellent views of it yesterday (Sunday), right out in the open (whereas it had often only been seen fleetingly amongst reeds), running around foraging in a very Jacanaistic way. There are no lily leaves present but it seems quite happy running around on a thick sludgy blanket of green algae. Tony. ADELAIDE BIRDING with Tony Russell.
