Hi all,

I don't know if anyone else picked up Paul Jones'
report of Green Catbirds at Cooloongook, Victoria.
This species is not known from that state and I am
amazed that if this report is accurate (as seems
likely) no one has picked them up before - they are
after all pretty noticeable when they're around. Does
this represent movement of northern birds or even an
outlying population? It could, of course, also be
construed as another reason to halt logging in the
area.

Any thoughts?
