Eggbert see?s a tear in his wife?s eye,
He asks what is my dear, why do you cry?
She says to him these words so clear,
Eggy, I don?t recognise anything here,
Where are the trees, the scrub and the bush?
That housed our friends, and fed Mr. Cuscus,
What Eggy caused the earth so much pain,
Will it ever all grow back again?,
Moving up close, he put his wing around his dear,
Saying Come my love, lets move from here,
We?ll fly south, back to JAG?s place,
He has a dartboard with a Beattie face,
Think of the fun we?ll have with him,
Help him, with the Queensland war he must win,
Leave Queensland politicians to their Government of
shame,
May their grandchildren play in acid rain.

John A. Gamblin.

"I wonder how long" till were down to 500 native
Australian bird species? that's what most overseas
travellers come to see I believe?
