Hi all,
just a few quick observations:
Shinning-bronze and Pallid Cuckoo in Geelong for that last few weeks -
Pallid haven't seemed to arrive in Ocean Grove yet;
Noisy Miner in Geelong (so what) that apart from a slight bit of grey/black
colouring from the base of the bill to the eye, was completely white. Made
me look twice!;
Big formations (usually 60+) of Straw-necked Ibis flying over much of the
Bellarine Peninsula. On Mud Islands at the moment, Ibis, mostly
Straw-necked, are congregating in large numbers. It was suggested to me
10,000+ pairs;
A pair of Caspian Tern on the Ocean Grove Golf Course. I don't know if I'm
just being more observant each year but there seems to be an increasing
number of Caspians around this area. Anyone else agree with this??

Cheers

Richard Dilena
