Pallid Cuckoos have returned to the Windsor area about an hours drive
north-west of Sydney. Several seen and heard at Cattai NP. Scarlet
Honeyeaters also common there today. A White-throated Gerygone
possibly heard.
One Peregrine Falcon patrolling overhead. Nankeen Night Herons at nearby Mitchell Park but no Powerful Owl seen. Pitt Town Lagoon had 4 White-bellied Sea-eagles; two adults and two imms.. Nearby were 4 Black-shouldered Kites and an Australian Hobby Regards, Andy -- Andy Burton's Bush Tours 12/8 Cambridge St, Cammeray, NSW 2062 Australia Ph 61 2 9954 0893 Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
