I'm very happy to second this appreciation.

Earlier in the year I made a posting about the gull threat to
the Banded Stilts in which I was very doubtful whether Govt.
agencies could make decisions fast enough to save the stilts.

I was WRONG.  Its clear that the SA wildlife service made an
early decision to save the stilts from gull predation and
acted upon it.  Well done!
