G'day All,
I have a question from two very good and extremely
reliable senior citizen friends of mine and locals of
the Mornington Peninsula. They are not fanatical
"birdo's" but know the difference between a sparrow
and an w/t Eagle.

Whilst they were out walking with some friends in the
Red Hill area, they noticed a flock of nine black
cockatoo's fly over but in amongst them were two
sulphur crested cockatoo's? 11 in all?

Question:
Is this normal? for them to mix as mentioned? and the
flight pattern was unusual as it was in a straight
line formation but like this

 | ->

for all nine? with the two sulphur crested in the
middle of the pattern three black on the left four on
the right? it struck them as being very unusual?

If anyone can assist with their question they thank
you in advance .....
